Air University, 11 July 2019 Professor Philomena Leung, Associate Dean - International Engagement, Macquarie University (MU) Australia accompanied by Mr Tanveer Shaheed, Regional Director (South Asia & Middle East), Macquarie University and Ms. Rumla Tahir, Country Manager (Pakistan), Macquarie University, visited Air University (AU) to further strengthen the existing relationships between AU and MU

MU is one of the reputed institute which enjoys an overall 13th position in Australia and 247th position in QS global ranking 2019.

AU has been working with MU for many years and signed MOU with MU in 2018.

During the visit Professor Philomena Leung gave a talk on “Ethics and Artificial Intelligence” to AU management and faculty. Vice chancellor AU also graced the occasion.

The talk was very comprehensive and thought provoking and the audience highly appreciated the presentation of Professor Philomena Leung. One to one meeting between AU and MU officials to enhance the collaboration activities between two universities was also held.

It is hoped that the visit by Professor Philomena Leung will enhance collaboration between AU and MU further in the areas of business management, accounting & finance, computer science and cyber security.
