The Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering offers degrees in Bachelors of Mechanical Engineering (BE), MS in Mechanical Engineering and MS in Aerospace Engineering. MS Mechanical Engineering program specializes in two broad areas; Design Engineering and Fluid Power Engineering. MS Aerospace Engineering program also specializes in two areas; Solid Mechanics and Fluid Dynamics. The MS degree program requires successful completion of 24 credit hours of course work and 6 credit hours of research work. An MS thesis is aimed at producing work which can meet the criteria for publishing in international journals/conference proceedings. The BE Mechanical Engineering program spreads over eight semesters (04 year) and requires successful completion of 140 credit hours inclusive of courses, laboratory and research work.
