Eligibility Criteria
ELIGIBILITY SUMMARY
Eligibility for admission in Bachelors Program
1. Applicants must have passed:
Intermediate (Part I and II) examination from any Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education in Pakistan. Applicants must have scored 50% or more marks.
OR
An examination equivalent to the Intermediate. Such candidates are required to submit an Equivalence Certificate issued by the Inter Board Chairman Committee, Islamabad, before the semester starts. This certificate must indicate the marks equivalent to marks in the Intermediate examination.
OR
The GCE 'A' level examination with three subjects. Such candidates are required to submit an Equivalence Certificate issued by the Inter Board Chairman Committee, Islamabad, before the semester starts. This certificate must indicate the marks equivalent to marks in the Intermediate examination.
2. Applicants awaiting results may be given provisional admission until the declaration of their respective results. Only those scoring 50% or more marks shall be considered. Those scoring less than 50% marks shall have their provisional admissions cancelled and shall be withdrawn from their respective programs.
3. Applicants scoring minimum passing marks in the Intermediate or in GCE A level or in any other examination equivalent to the intermediate are eligible for admission. Those getting partial pass results due to any reason, or who are required to appear in compartment /supplementary paper(s), are not eligible for admission even if their aggregate marks are 50% or more in their respective examination.
4. The absolute value of percentage is considered as final; it is not rounded off to the next whole number, e.g., 49.9% is considered 49.9% and NOT 50%.
5. Candidates who qualify the Admission Test will appear in an interview for final selection.
Applicants must have passed:

OR
An examination equivalent to Intermediate. Such candidates are required to submit an Equivalence Certificate issued by the Inter Board Chairman Committee, Islamabad, before the semester starts. This certificate must indicate the marks equivalent to marks in Intermediate,
OR
G.C.E A level examination with three subjects (Physics, Chemistry, and Math.). The candidates are required to submit an Equivalence Certificate issued by the Inter Board Chairman Committee, Islamabad, before the semester starts. This certificate must indicate the marks equivalent to marks in Intermediate.

1. Intermediate (Part I and II) examination in Science subjects (Pre-Engg/Pre-Med)/FA General Science including Statistics and Economics/ICom/ICS from any Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education in Pakistan. Applicants must have scored 50% or more marks.
OR
An examination equivalent to Intermediate. Such candidates are required to submit an Equivalence Certificate issued by the Inter Board Chairman Committee, Islamabad before the semester starts. This certificate must indicate the marks equivalent to marks in Intermediate.
OR
GCE 'A' level examination with subjects including Economics, Accounting and Statistics. The candidates are required to submit an Equivalence Certificate issued by the Inter Board Chairman Committee, Islamabad before the semester starts. This certificate must indicate the marks equivalent to marks in Intermediate.
2. Applicants awaiting results shall be given provisional admission until declaration of their respective results. Only those scoring 50% or more marks shall be granted admission. Eligibility for admission in Masters Program
1. Master in English or Four years Bachelor Degree in English with minimum 45% marks from HEC recognized institute or equivalent.
2. For award of MS degree HEC requires NTS (GAT-General) Test (at least 50% score), this must be taken before or during the first semester of the MS program.
3. Candidates who qualify the Admission Test will appear for an interview for final selection.
1. BBA Hons (124-136 Cr. Hrs), with 2.5 CGPA or 60% marks
2. Candidates who qualify the Admission Test will appear in an interview for final selection.
1. 16 years of Non Business Education.
2. MBBS, BE, Master in Basic and Social Sciences
3. Admission Test Exemption for those who have secured 50% marks in GAT General.
1. 1. BA/BSc./B.Com with 2.5 CGPA or 60% marks.
2. Candidates who qualify the Admission Test will appear in the interview for final selection.
1. M.Sc Physics / BS Physics / BS Engineering from HEC recognized institute or equivalent with minimum CGPA 2.5/4.00 or 60% marks.
2. For award of MS degree HEC requires GRE General / NTS (GAT-General) test (min. 50% score). This must be taken before or during the first semester of the MS program.
3. Selection Interview
1. BE / B.Sc. Engineering (Aerospace /Aeronautical / Mechatronics / Mechanical /Chemical) Minimum CGPA 2.0/4.00 or equivalent
2. For award of MS degree HEC requires GRE General / GAT-General test (at least 50% score), that must be taken before or during the first semester of the MS program.
3. Candidates will appear in the interview for final selection.
1. BE / B.Sc. Engineering (Electrical/ Electronics/ Avionics/ Computer/ Telecom/ Aerospace/ Mechanical/ Mechatronics), Minimum CGPA 2.0/4.00 or equivalent

2. Minimum CGPA 2.00/4.00 in semester system or equivalent.
3. For award of M.S. degree H.E.C. requires G.R.E. General / N.T.S. (GAT-General) test (at least 50% score). This must be taken before or during the first semester of the M.S. program.
4. Candidates will appear in an interview for final selection.
1. BE/B.Sc. Engineering (Aerospace/Avionics/ Aeronautical/Computer/Electrical/ Electronics /Mechanical/Mechatronics/Telecom). Fresh graduates are eligible but some relevant industrial experience will help a student gain more from the program.

1. Minimum 16 years of education, preferably in a business related field, (MBA/MPA/M.Com/ACMA/ ACA/B.Com 4 years program) and BBA Hons. 4 years program (124-136 Cr. Hrs.) with at least 60% marks or 2.5 CGPA in last-earned degree from HEC Recognized University/Institute.
2. For award of MS degree HEC requires NTS (GAT-General) test (at least 50% score), that must be taken before or during the first semester of the MS program.
3. Candidates who qualify the Admission Test, will appear in the interview for final selection.
1. 16 years education with Major in Mathematics/ Computer Sciences or a related discipline, Minimum CGPA 2.5/4.00 or 60% marks
2. For award of MS degree HEC requires GRE General / NTS (GAT-General) test (at least 50% score), that must be taken before or during the first semester of the MS program.
3. Candidates will appear in the interview for final selection.
1. (Specialization in Thermofluids / Modeling and Simulation / Computational Mechanics / Advanced Dynamics / Control Systems / Manufacturing and Engineering Management / Energy / Flight Dynamics)
2. BE / B.Sc. Engineering (Aerospace /Aeronautical / Mechatronics / Mechanical / Chemical)
Minimum CGPA 2.00/4.00 or equivalent
3. For award of MS degree HEC requires GRE General / NTS (GAT-General) test (at least 50% score). This must be taken before or during the first semester of the MS program.
4. Candidates will appear in the interview for final selection.
 
PhD Programs
1. Masters degree in the relevant area of engineering (with at least 24 credit-hours course work plus 6 credit hours thesis) with a CGPA. of at least 3.00/4.00 or equivalent.
2. Pass subject GRE or NTS(GAT-Subject) (above 60 percentile ranking) or pass the University entrance test and obtain above 60%.
3. Candidates will appear in an interview for final selection.
1. Masters degree in Management Sciences (24 credit-hours course work along with 6 credit hours for thesis) with a CGPA of at least 3.0/4.0 or equivalent.
2. A minimum of eighteen (18) years of education.
3. Pass the GAT subject test conducted by the National Testing Service (NTS) with a minimum of 60% cumulative score.
OR
minimum 60th Percentile in GMAT/GRE Subject.
4. Candidates will appear in an interview for final selection.
1. MPhil/MS in English or equivalent with minimum 3.0 GPA marks from an institution recognized by the Higher Education Commission.
2. Pass the GAT test conducted by the National Testing Service(NTS) with a minimum of  60% comulative score. OR
minimum 60th Percentile in GMAT/GRE Subject.
3. Other requirements as stipulated by the Higher Education Commission
