Employment Policy of AIR University
 
  1. All departments are to forward their requirements of new/replacement staff and faculty members to HR Office.
  2. Information Office is to advertise the job opportunity in leading news papers and AU Website in coordination with HR Office.
  3. Applications received in response to advertisement are to be forwarded to respective departments for shortlisting.
  4. Departments are to shortlist the candidates after interview. HR Department is to arrange Interview as and when convenient to the relevant department.
  5. Candidates shortlisted for faculty positions have to appear before a selection board and present a demo lecture (for administrative staff this step is skipped from procedure). Selection Board consists of the following:-
    1. Vice Chancellor.
    2. Director P & D
    3. Director Academics
    4. Department Chair
    5. Subject Specialist
    6. HR Manager
  6. Selection Board will select the candidate. Director Academics will evaluate and determine the salary scale for the selected candidate, as per BOG approved pay scales and HEC approved procedure for faculty designation. After negotiations with Dir P & D, the candidate will be hired. Dir Academics will verify all the testimonials of selected candidates. HR Office will keep the copy of all testimonials.
