Air University Central Library

"The library aims to enrich learning, teaching and research programs of the university by providing timely access to the high quality scholarly information and learning material in a variety of formats."

With this mission in mind we aim to be a premier provider of knowledge-based information resources and user-focused services.

Currently located in the basement of administration block we have a print collection of more than 13,000 volumes. About 22 serial publications and 8 newspapers are on our subscription list. Where as, campus wide access to more than 22,000 e-journals and 45,000 e-books, is available through the HEC’s National Digital Library Program.

We, at AUCL, provide circulation service to our all registered members. In addition to this, Xerox facility is also available but only for library reference material. Inter-library loan (ILL) facility is currently limited to few local university libraries.

In addition to students, faculty and other administrative staff members of the university, we are ready to entertain PAF personnel, academicians and research scholars who wish to consult library resources under the category of paid membership.

There are two discussion rooms for group study and six fully equipped study carrels with computers in the researchers’ room. In addition to this, five computers are available in magazine room for online access to digital resources.
