Welcome to the Department of Cyber Security at Air University, Islamabad Campus. We are pleased to shed light on our academic programs and accomplishments. Our department stands as a pioneering force in Pakistan, offering comprehensive degree programs in Cyber Security. Our journey began in Fall 2018 with the introduction of the undergraduate degree program titled "BS in Cyber Security." Expanding our offerings, we introduced the "MS in System Security" program in Spring 2020, followed by the addition of the "MS in Cyber Security" and "PhD in Cyber Security" programs in Fall 2020. In a remarkably short time, our Cyber Security programs have garnered the trust and attention of students, emerging as essential components of this decade's educational landscape. Our dedicated faculty and staff are committed to providing an exceptional learning environment, equipped with specialized Cyber Security labs, affordable tuition fees, and a dynamic academic atmosphere fostering healthy competition. The curricula for both undergraduate and graduate programs cover a diverse range of topics aligned with international standards and guidelines for Cyber Security education. This ensures that our students receive a comprehensive and globally relevant education. We prioritize experiential learning, offering students practical opportunities to engage with Cyber Security challenges, thus preparing them to become proficient Cyber Security professionals and contribute to enhancing Pakistan's Cyber Security posture. Central to our academic pursuits is a strong emphasis on innovative and applied research. We are proud to host the National Center for Cyber Security (NCCS) at Air University, Islamabad, supported by 11 specialized labs strategically located across Pakistan, each dedicated to different Cyber Security sub-domains.
