The Guest Speaker Seminars (GSS) is a traditional monthly event of the Department of English that took its inception in 2013 under the patronage of Prof. Dr Wasima Shehzad (Dean FSS at the time). The event invites speakers from across the country and the world to speak on matters of academic interest. This forum helps in encouraging newer perspectives, critical thinking, hands-on skills and healthy discussions amongst the participants. Currently it is being organized by a team of three faculty members: Ms. Humera Faraz, Mr. Tariq Ejaz and Ms. Hafsa Ali.

Under this platform, several successful sessions have been carried out. Many renowned speakers such as Dr. Maryam Rab, Dr. Amineh Hoti, Dr. Uxi Mufti, Ms. Qaisra Shahraz, Ms. Saima Noman and some foreign speakers such as Dr. Asantha, Dr. Barker and Mr. Adam have been invited as guests on this forum
