The freshly established ‘Air University Aviation Club’ conducted its maiden flight with an event organized on the 18th of October, 2022. The event was a Guest-Speaking Seminar titled as “Scope of Aviation Management” which was aimed to bridge the gap between academia and industry. The event, "Scope of Aviation Management" was held at the Main Auditorium, Air University Islamabad. The event focused on future prospects for an Aviation Management graduate; in terms of career opportunities as well as educational prospects. Aviation Club held the privilege of not only organizing the first ever Aviation Management specific event but also has the honour of hosting notable representations from the industry in their inaugural event. The Guests included Mr Maaz Ali Malik (Terminal Manager IIAP) is also an Air University Alumni; A/Cdr ® Ahmed Nawaz Khan (Captain at Air Blue) and; Mr Salman Ather (Retired Director Airport Services and currently the program manager for Aviation Management at Air University, Islamabad.)

The Seminar “Scope of Aviation Management” was enthusiastically attended by all students of Aviation Management along with some students from BBA as well. We witnessed a footfall of approximately 400 students. Seniors from the management and faculty graced the event with their presence. Students got to learn about the Aviation Industry from current professionals, how and what skills one needs to develop and possess, how to reach their dream designations and got to interact with the speakers to get all queries solved.

The event was no doubt a well-planned, finely executed and a successful one. We congratulate and encourage our students for taking such initiatives.
