Air University takes pride in maintaining the beauty of its campus. It is our collective responsibility to ensure a safe, pleasant and happy campus environment which is clean, tidy and litter free. Improper disposal of any form of litter is strictly prohibited on campus. Litter is any waste material, garbage, or rubbish, including but not limited to food, food wrappers, paper, cans, bottles, or discarded debris. All members of the University community and visitors are required to utilize trash containers to discard any unwanted items or rubbish. Intentional disposal of waste material except in designated containers is a violation of the law, university policy, and the Student Code of Conduct. Compliance with this policy is expected from all University students, faculty, staff, visitors and contractors. Student violators will be fined by University Proctor Team personnel and referred to the Department of Student Affairs for disciplinary action as appropriate. The penalty shall be either a fine of PKR. 1000/- or 1 hour of Community Service (litter pickup/cleaning). Repeat offenders may be subject to additional fine/sanctions as determined by the Department of Student Affairs or other relevant university department/office as appropriate.
