MS/PHD PROGRAM REVIEW ASSESSMENT

Air University MS / Mphil & PhD program review assessment was conducted on 13 May 2022 at 10:00 am in Board Room. The Panel of external member Dr Ayub Siddiqui (Dean Management Sciences FAST National University Islamabad) with convener Air Cdre Ahmed Hassan Director Quality, AU and member Lt Col Amir Toor Deputy Director QEC, Ms Mehreen Ishtiaq, Assistant Director Ranking, and support member along with concerned Deans / HODs / Supervisors carried out the review. The main objective of MS PhD programs review was to enhance the training and education of graduate students to ensure that graduate students optimally prepare for careers and augment the overall Research capacity of the university. On the basis of HEC approved performa’s, details are being delivered through the presentation which were associated with launching of degree programs to faculty and students. All MS and PhD programs offered at all campuses have been reviewed by Review Committee. All the Chair departments attended the session and were able to apprise the house on various questions as per their turn. Air University main campus and its 7 faculties & other two campuses Multan and karma campus program details, dedicated faculty permanent and visiting and student details were discussed in the presentation. Review Committee inspected the faculty performance, their workload, supervision, students’ enrollment and dismissal, graduate student details. Various other aspects were also discussed and adequately addressed by the respective Chair Departments. Review Committee members noted down the salient points of respective departments with special focus on issues related to the current programs. External member also put across the plausible recommendations and reservations on some of the important issues.
