Policy on accreditation of programs campuses, constituent, and affiliated colleges

This SOP aims to ensure accreditation of all programs at AU and affiliated colleges is conducted according to accreditation bodies' requirements, with smooth planning and execution of accreditation visits and defined responsibilities for academic departments and management.

Policy on Migration and Transfer of Students

The policy allows students from other Pakistani or foreign universities or reputed Higher Education Institutions (HEls) to migrate to Air University and transfer between different departments. The Vice Chancellor may approve these migrations or transfers based on recommendations from the Director Academics, Registrar, and departmental equivalence committee.

Policy for Conduct of Academic Council Meeting

The Academic Council, led by the Vice-Chancellor, is the statutory body of Air University responsible for establishing academic policies and maintaining the excellence of its programs. It serves as an advisory and implementing body for decisions related to examinations, course revision, syllabi, education quality, new programs, and course duration. The council also handles the process of convening meetings.

AU Policy on Curriculum Revision

Air University utilizes a systematic Continuous Quality Improvement (CQl) process to achieve academic excellence in the national and international Higher Education Community. This policy provides a robust system with guidelines and well-defined steps for developing and reviewing curricula offered by various faculties.

AU Policy on Conduct of Afternoon/Weekend Classes

Air University offers afternoon and weekend programs in Business, Computing, and Social Sciences to cater to industry and corporate needs. These programs provide alternatives for students unable to attend morning sessions, ensuring equal academic quality. The policy streamlines afternoon and weekend program operations, maintaining consistent teaching standards across all schedules.

AU Faculty Workload Guidelines

Air University prioritizes hiring and retaining top faculty members through competitive salaries, teaching skills demonstrations, research publications, and applied research. The university aims to enhance public perception through continuous development of faculty and staff, ensuring a conducive work environment and fostering a positive society.

The "Best Student of the Year" award at Air University fosters enthusiasm, competition, motivation, and participation among students. Air University Central Library (AUCL) Facilities Utilization and Disposal of Library Material Policy

This policy outlines the operations of the Air University Central Library, including loan terms, membership procedures, loan renewal, application procedures, loss of books, weeding of library materials, inter-library loans, and stocktaking.
